College took a lot of getting used to. I checked my Catholic school background at the door to learn without prejudice but struggled with domineering males. Worse, the need to fit in turned females into willing victims.
I would hate to strike anyone as being puritanical but every social gathering that took place by sundown made me want to carry a Taser to prevent rape, physical abuse and other teenage violence.
